SONY is recalling DSC-T5 cameras

The Japanese giant again had to resort to the above step.

Fortunately, this is not a life-cutting mistake - much less a hand-cutting one. What is it about? The bottom material of the SONY DSC-T5's ultra-compact camera does not meet the quality standards sufficiently, so the top layer may peel off during use, allowing the camera to show off its lion's claws - meaning it may injure the user's hand.

According to the official announcement, machines with serial numbers between 3500001 and 3574100 are only affected, but smart people put the number of models with a faulty base at about 350. Information from elsewhere mentions serial numbers 000 to 5385951. If you have already made your gadget out of your own money, SONY will reimburse you on the basis of the invoice.

As we cannot be completely sure which machines are affected by the problem, we advise anyone who has such a machine and has already experienced it to contact SONY Hungary.
