Casio Exilim EX-ZS15: a modern family camera

Casio Exilim EX-ZS15: a modern family cameraAlthough Casio is not exactly famous for its world-renowned cameras, thanks to the touch screen display, family fathers can also flash a little during their holidays at Lake Balaton.

The new member of the Exilim family is much more like a smartphone camera than a regular compact one, but to its advantage, we can take better pictures with it than with a mobile phone. Equipped with a 14-megapixel CCD, the machine has HD video recording, 5 × optical zoom, macro mode, and face recognition. Interestingly, there are only four buttons on it, one for the shutter button and one for the video start button. The void on the back is broken by the 3-inch touch screen, which is home to virtually all functions. Controlled by large, family-friendly icons, you can adjust everything when you tap a certain part of the screen, the focus is there automatically. Viewing pictures can also be familiar, as you have to slide your photos left and right with your finger, just like on phones. The finished works can be stored on an SD / SDHC / SDXC card, the Li-ion battery is enough to take 170 pictures according to the factory data. Casio has not yet commented on the look and price, but we promise to get the camera at a reasonable price, which will come in black, silver and red.
