Sharp has unveiled its 3D tablet panel and TV

Although we’ve heard of displays announced by Sharp that were 3D, they’ve now introduced their first 3D panel that doesn’t require glasses.

Sharp, Japan’s fourth-largest LCD TV maker, wants to launch 3D TVs in the mainland later this summer, after which they would set out to conquer other continents as well.

The devices can have a display up to 60 inches in diameter. The company has already unveiled its first 10,1-inch prototype, which is primarily intended for tablet PCs and netbooks, and there is no need to wear glasses for 3D viewing.
