NEC is made with a Windows tabletThe Japanese manufacturer today announced its Windows 7 LaVie Touch tablet based on the Intel Oak Trail platform.

The 263 × 183 × 15,8 millimeter device will weigh 729 grams, and its 10,1-inch touchscreen will feature a 1280 × 800 pixel IPS panel. The 1,5GHz Atom Z670 processor comes with 2GB of memory, a 64GB SSD and Intel integrated graphics. The exceptionally strong specification is further enhanced by the usual accessories, SDHC slot, 802.11 b / g / n WiFi module, Bluetooth 2.1, two USB 2.0 pointers, 1,3 megapixel front camera, HDMI output and 10,6 hours of operation according to the manufacturer battery is running. 

The NEC LaVie Touch will be unveiled in Japan on October 6 at a hitherto unknown price, but it obviously won’t be two pennies.
