Microsoft is expanding

Microsoft is accelerating construction at its Redmond headquarters.

As early as May 2005, Microsoft received permission to build 14 buildings at its Redmond headquarters. Now, however, the software giant’s leaders have decided to accelerate construction and expand the site by an additional $ 1 billion over the next three years. This means adding 287 square meters of space to the current 994. Just to make sense of the dimensions: the size of a stadium is approx. 743-224 square meters. They want to build 7500 buildings on a total of 8500 square feet. Microsoft will then hire 14 new employees.

As well as $ 35 million worth of the company, the company wants to improve, develop roads and canals in the city, and even set up a gateway to help transport between the site and the residents around it.

As the Redmond site is added, it will become one of the largest corporate sites in the world.
