Google is already translating the images

This week, everything in the world press is about mobiles and PDAs, which is no wonder, as members of the European press can see a lot of news in Barcelona.

According to a recent news, Google has introduced a software in an experimental stage, with which we can translate the captions and texts shown in our images. The program is able to analyze the image to find the captions and translate them (with the help of online, of course) into the requested language.

The idea is definitely good, as walking in exotic places can be a lot that we can’t interpret inscriptions that would be good. The only problem we think is that translating will require internet access, which is not cheap fun if we use our mobile device abroad.

We do not yet have information about the release date of the program, but according to sources, it is expected to become available later this year.
