Canon introduces the compact, easy-to-use EOS M.

Canon today further expanded its award-winning EOS family with the newly released EOS M.

The company's first compact system camera (CSC), the EOS M, is designed for those who use photography to share their everyday passions with others - be it food, fashion, culture, music or even art. Offering DSLR-like picture quality, creative features and Full HD movie recording in a compact, easy-to-use design, the EOS M is the perfect ubiquitous companion for a new generation of fans who capture their lives with pictures without thinking of themselves as professional photographers.

Available in attractive black, glossy white, understated gray and bold red, the EOS M brings to life Canon’s deservedly famous EOS image processing heritage in a sleek, compact design. The model comes with two new lenses - the EF-M 22mm f / 2 STM “pancake” and the EF-M 18-55mm f / 3.5-5.6 IS STM standard zoom - as well as a new compact EX Speedlite flash, the Speedlite With 90EX to always have everything available to capture stunning images. And for those who want to capture even more images, the EOS M can also use a wide range of Canon EF lenses with the new EF-EOS M lens adapter, giving you even more creative freedom.

Thanks to the EOS M's high-resolution 18-megapixel APS-C Hybrid CMOS sensor, your favorite moments can be printed in poster size or cut significantly - whether you're shooting your favorite club or another pretty bag. The large sensor also allows you to blur the background for beautiful portraits or high-impact close-ups.

Thanks to Canon's DIGIC 5 processor, colors glow and skin tones look especially natural, and the super-fast shutter captures actions in less than a fraction of a second. The atmosphere of evening shots and challenging night shots can also be captured easily with captivating detail, thanks to the EOS M’s very wide ISO sensitivity (100-12800, expandable to 25600).

All cartilage on the EOS M is designed to capture attractive, creative, high-quality images. From the first touch of the bright, high-resolution 7,7cm (3,0 ”) Clear View LCD II touchscreen, the EOS M allows you to reach as many images as you want. The various shooting modes and settings can be easily selected with the icons on the touch screen; but on demand, Intelligent Scene Detection Automation also adjusts machine settings depending on the subject and shooting conditions, so you really only have to focus on composing and pressing the shutter button at the right moment.

The Canon EOS-M will be available for purchase in October, at a price of HUF 190.
