8 gigantic memories in one package
OCZ increases the stakes.
You can slowly get lost in the manufacturer’s Platinum memories, there isn’t a month when a newer version or a packaged familiar piece won’t appear. Even now the latter has happened, the largest 4 gig package to date will be replaced by the 8 gig package.
The package running as the PC2-6400 8GB Platinum Quad can show no extras other than the increase in size, the modules operate at 800 MHz, which has a delay value of 5-4-4-18. Each of the four modules has been given the special XTC heat sinks, which are certainly needed, as the chips require a standard voltage of 2.1 V.
The price of the 8 gig package marketed with a lifetime grant is not yet known.
