Above 6 GHz with Intel Quad-Core Extreme Processor

According to preliminary tests, the Intel Core 11 Extreme QX2, which debuted on November 9650, proved to be a very tunable processor.

End of September in our news we also reported that the original 9650 GHz clock signal of the QX3 was successfully upgraded to 4138,1 MHz with air cooling and 5601,8 MHz with a liquid nitrogen solution. The tuning master of VR-Zone went beyond this, the specialist named Shamino increased the operating frequency of the processor to exactly 6010,8 MHz, and although the conditions of overclocking are not known, it is certain that an extreme cooling solution had to be chosen in this case as well. An Foxconn MARS Quantum Force motherboard helped achieve outstanding performance.
