Corel recommends Intel quad-core

As is well known, Corel acquired InterVideo last August.

Since InterVideo and Ulead merged in July, so $ 196 million transaction as a result, Corel has acquired software from both companies and may distribute it under its own name.

Corel recommends Intel Core 11 Quad processors for Ulead Videostudio’s latest release, 2. Corel says a Q6700 processor results in a 60% increase in performance during a video conversion process from AVI to MPEG-2. While it is not known what this 60 percent should be measured for, the fact that only Intel currently offers a quad-core processor, as well as the fact that a heavier amount has been transferred to Corel's account from Intel, is also not known.
