3D glasses from Panasonic

Panasonic seems to be heavily preparing for 3D television.

The glasses shown follow the well-known principle, i.e. they cover one and the other eye alternately so that we can enjoy a 3-dimensional image.

The glasses certainly work, but I have to say it didn’t get too pretty. Anyway, I’m pretty skeptical about this way of watching 3D TV because I have a hard time imagining me sitting in a pair of glasses on the couch at home at night.

A suspiciously big fuss will accompany 3D TVs as well, but somehow I feel like that’s not what we’re waiting for yet. Until surround broadcast can be watched without all sorts of ugly accessories, I don’t think the technology will have many users either, but refute it if you think otherwise!
