Optoforce, EasyLing and JobCTRL won the competition for the Innovation Exhibition held as part of the Cyber Space Conference. At one of the most outstanding domestic IT-focused events of the year, the leaders of international guns such as Microsoft, Cisco and Google, among others, got acquainted with the most promising domestic developments.

In the competition organized by the Mobility and Multimedia Cluster, which was connected with the exhibition, 23 Hungarian development teams were able to present themselves to the domestic and international professional and political elite. From the projects presented by the exhibitors, a 7-member jury of politicians, successful business leaders and investors selected the most promising in terms of business and technology, and the audience was able to vote for the performance and development it considered the best.

The main prize of the jury was won by the team of Optoforce, which developed the three-dimensional pressure measuring device. The tool, which can determine the magnitude and direction of any force from fluffy light touches to the pressure exerted by hammer blows, has several advantages: in addition to cheap production costs, the applications are extremely diverse. These include, for example, robotics used in manufacturing technologies, or various medical rehabilitation options; for Optoforce, the limit is the starry sky, justified by the jury.

The development of EasyLing has been recognized as the most innovative solution. The essence of the Hungarian project is to translate the textual content of websites in different languages in their original environment with a single click. The development offers a solution primarily for companies that want to make their website available without a multi-step procedure, but based on a professional translation team.

The JobCTRL team won the award for best presentation. The essence of the innovation, which is already well after the test phase, but is yet to be introduced to the market, is that it optimizes the efficiency of computer workers thanks to its objective measurement system. László Györgypál, who gave the presentation, said that with the help of JobCTRL, productivity can be increased by an average of 10 percent. The system helps not only company managers but also employees to increase their work value.

The prizes for the three winning projects were presented by Péter Sztáray (Ministerial Commissioner, Deputy State Secretary for Security Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Gábor Fekete (Deputy State Secretary for e-Government of the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice) and László Korányi (Vice-President of the National Innovation Office).

“The projects presented at the innovation exhibition have proved that despite the crisis, there is an industry with significant development potential. The IT sector provides creative job opportunities for skilled young people who are already in the most difficult situations. Raising the Hungarian startup ecosystem is in the national economic interest, which is why it is really reassuring to see that many young people have recognized the potential of this, ”said Péter Sztáray.
