4G is making great strides

Telekom's mobile network modernization is in full swing: by mid-July 2013, the company had covered new county capitals, cities and towns with its modern 4G / LTE network. By now, the next generation mobile internet, 4G, has become available in most of Békéscsaba, Kaposvár, Nyíregyháza, Pécs, Székesfehérvár, Tatabánya and Zalaegerszeg, among others. In addition to the capital, the service is available to more than 87% of the population in 37 settlements. 

Telekom plans to provide 4G coverage in additional rural settlements by the end of the year.
