Thousands of hours of free content on Sony TVs

According to the results of a representative survey of 18 people in the market research of Sony Hungary and NRC, 49 percent of the Hungarian population aged 8-10 have a smart TV, and half of the owners consume Internet content on their TV at least once a month and 15-XNUMX percent on a daily basis.

According to the company’s own survey, about half of smart TV buyers would already be willing to pay for the extra content available on TVs (music content, movie downloads, games, Skype access). All this shows that, over time, even television may become the number one display device on the Internet in households - provided that producers help consumers access more and better quality content.
Sony has now taken a big step in this direction by partnering with fuso interactive TV provider. Through the fuso interface, many Hungarian content providers' programs, including popular series, shows, movies, and free Internet content, will be available on Sony TVs in a single application, all you need to do is connect your TV to the Internet.
Unlike the general practice, the service is also available through many previously purchased Sony devices. The solution works on Internet-enabled Bravia TVs purchased since 2009, and all Internet-enabled Sony Blu-Ray players and home theaters allow traditional TVs to be “upgraded”. Sony Bravia TVs can display fuso content quickly and stably with a clean interface that customers can test at Sony Centers, among others.

Sándor Rab emphasized that Sony was thinking not only of customers who bought their Internet-capable Sony TV years ago, but also of those who bought third-party LCD or plasma devices, as all Sony Blu-Ray devices, starting with the cheapest ones on the market from the available player (BDP S185) is suitable for “sharing” flat panel TVs from any manufacturer.
