The list, of course, is unofficial, a kind of blog reflection, i.e. it lists the products that would probably be in the top five if this award really existed.

Let’s get started with AMD’s desktop processors, more of the company’s insecurity this year, which has virtually shattered the image built with K8 units. It’s enough to think of the K10 delay, problems, or the highly sweaty smell-successful QuadFX platform.

Again, device drivers that still don’t want to work with Windows Vista. Hauppauge is the culprit involved, a manufacturer that the writer claims is still unable to present Vistás drives to its users. We would not elaborate on how to install Hauppauge devices now, if what Mr Kingsley-Huges described is true, then the company really deserves this honorary title.

The battle of Blu-ray versus HD DVD can already get on the brains of many, the author says it is better to stay out of the whole fuss and wait for the mood to calm down a bit! Of course, all this does not really affect us Hungarians, and the smarter have long realized that this format war is only good so that big multis can suck each other well.

However, the previous nominees are preceded by a device called Apple TV, which also received the Most Disappointing Product award. The reason is simple, Apple has managed to put together an accessory that has a lot of imagination, but there are also bugs and shortcomings in the device that only degrade the value of the Apple TV in a nice little box. We just don't know why the author is surprised by this?
