Zoom champion bridge camera from Samsung
Samsung's latest 16,2 megapixel 26x zoom compact camera, the WB100, is already available in Hungary, and is the manufacturer's first bridge camera.
The WB100 is a “bridge” between compact and SLR cameras: it offers excellent image quality while still being easy to use for hobby photographers. Its built-in lens offers an outstanding wide-angle focal length of 22,3mm, but it's not a shame even when full, as the 580mm value is suitable for even bird or wildlife photography. Its sensitivity range can be set between ISO80 and 1600, so even in low light conditions, e.g. you can easily take pictures in the woods or even after sunset. For those who want to capture their experiences not only in still images but also in movies, the Samsung WB100 can also record HD videos with a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 30 fps. Images and videos can be viewed on the rear 3-inch LCD display. The machine, which has 4 AA batteries or rechargeable batteries, also has an HDMI output, so the recordings can be easily viewed on LCD or LED TVs.
Images taken with the WB100 can be formatted with special effects: Smart Filter, Magic Frame or Split Shot functions allow users to experience their creativity, and the 3D Photo function displays all images in three dimensions - which are eye-catching on 3D-compatible monitors and televisions for every other representation they appear more captivating.
The Samsung WB100 is already available in Hungary, at a recommended gross consumer price of HUF 57.900.
