X-Fi sound card with PCIe x1 interface: in stores soon!

Unveiled at CES in January, the X-Fi novelty will soon be available on the shelves of computer stores.

The PCI Express can be inserted into the x1 socket X-Fi Xtreme Audio samples have already been shipped, so it’s really only weeks, in the worst case a few months, it may be a matter of time before high-volume sales begin for Creative’s first PCIe-coupled sound card.

According to preliminary calculations, the basic model of the X-Fi family will be available for an amount of around HUF 12. The only question is when Creative will make the PCIe version of the other X-Fi cards.
