Entry into the Hungarian qualifiers for the World Cyber ​​Games, the world's largest computer and video game tournament, has begun. The domestic final is expected to be held in the fall with the support of Samsung.

The series of World Cyber ​​Games (WCG), which can already be called traditional, will continue this year as well, providing Hungarian fans of computer technology, including PC gamers, with an organized framework for measuring their knowledge. The winners will also have the opportunity to prove themselves at the World Cup Grand Final this year. The final will be hosted in Singapore this year.

Entry for four of the five game categories in the 2005 tournament series (StarCraft BroodWar, WarCraft III, Need For Speed ​​Underground II, and FIFA 2005) has already begun, with entry to the fifth (Counter-Strike) category expected later. Contrary to tradition, this year the competition will not start as a local network party, but within the framework of a three-month online qualification. After the online qualifiers are over, in the fall, the top three finishers in each category will be able to compare their knowledge for glory live.
