Windows Vista service pack already this fall!

Sparrows have been chirping for some time that Microsoft will release the first fix pack very soon.

The information now appears to have been confirmed. Paul Ottelini himself is said to have spoken when talking to analysts. Asked if Vista will affect Intel’s second-half results, the answer is that it is expected to do so after the service pack released in October or November.

This kind of revealed the answer to the question so far, i.e., whether the first fix pack is expected to be released this year.
