Opera browser ready for tablets (with video)

This version of Opera will be optimized for netbooks and tablets, will adapt to a larger screen than a mobile, and will support the various resolutions that may occur on such devices.

What you can already know about the new Opera is that it is based on Opera Mobile 10.5. Obviously, such a version jump will bring several serious changes that we haven’t seen yet.

As you can see from the video, scrolling will be easier and two-finger zoom is supported, but not too much detail has been revealed. The usual Opera look has been retained. Unfortunately, the good news is that extensions recently introduced in the desktop version are not yet supported, but this may change in the future because the extensions are intentionally designed to be standard and portable. Important news is that the tablet version will support Flash.

The tablet-optimized version will be unveiled on January 6 at CES in Las Vegas.
