Samsung is launching the year with WiFi-enabled cameras and camcorders

Samsung has introduced thirteen new digital cameras and camcorders that not only boast outstanding image quality, but also make photography and video recording much more enjoyable through their creative features.

WB Series: Traveling cameras with Wi-Fi

In the WB850F, WB3000F, WB150F and ST200F, in addition to the WB-Series' previous benefits, large optical zoom range and excellent image quality, Wi-Fi connectivity is now much easier than ever to share and store images. Compact, lightweight and durable, Samsung cameras can be the perfect travel companion for anyone. The WB850F also has GPS and Live Landmark features, so the user can also download maps while traveling and get more location information at the touch of a button. With the digital compass of the camera, the user can see his exact position and how far he is from his destination.

The WB850F has 21x, the WB150F 18x, and the WB300F and ST200F 10x optical zoom. Each model has a sensor of at least 12 megapixels (the WB850F is 16,2 megapixels, the WB3000F is 12 megapixels and the WB150F is 14,2 megapixels). Both the WB850F and WB300F use the latest BSI CMOS image sensor technology to capture excellent images even in low light. In addition, both models will be launched with a 3-inch VGA resolution (640 × 480) AMOLED display. The WB850F and WB300F can capture Full HD 1080 / 30p and 1080 / 60i HD videos, while the WB150F and ST200F can capture 720 / 30p HD video. 

Full manual control is available on the WB850F and WB150F, with Optical Image Stabilizer and Smart Auto2.0. feature that automatically helps you choose the most appropriate setting, even though it is already available on all four models.

ST88

ST88, ST77 and ST66

The ST88, ST77 and ST66 are Samsung's three new compact cameras. Brush-coated devices will be available in a variety of colors; the ST88 is expected to be black, white, and plum blue, while the ST77 and ST66 will be available in five different, trendy colors. With the ST88 and ST77's Optical Image Stabilizer, even amateur photographers can capture motion-free, sharp images. All three cameras with 5x optical zoom and 16 megapixel resolution ensure that even small details can be captured, and the F2.5 aperture 25mm wide-angle lens captures good images even in low light. The ST Series also captures 720p HD video, and the ST88's 3-inch, hVGA (480 × 320) LCD screen lets you instantly view high-quality images.

The new Self-Imaging Camera: DV300F

Equipped with a 1,5-inch front LCD display, the Samsung DV300F already has a Wi-Fi connection, so users can even instantly upload their images to Facebook, Picasa, Flickr or YouTube. The camera is available in black, silver, navy blue and red, among others. 

Special services

The WB and ST-Series feature Live Panorama, which allows you to pan around while holding down the shutter-release button to create a panoramic image that can be viewed immediately on the large LCD screen. With SmartAuto 2.0, even those who don’t understand the various settings will be able to boast amazing images, as the feature automatically assesses the conditions and selects the most appropriate setting for the situation, whether it’s a fireworks display or a foggy landscape. 
The designers of the WB and ST-Series, as well as the DV300F, also thought of those who wanted to have fun, with Magic Frame and Funny Face providing them with plenty of options. With Magic Frame, anyone can easily enchant themselves on the cover of a magazine, but you also have the option to create your own photo frames; with Picture in Picture, after taking the wallpaper, you only need to delete part of the picture so that the next photo will be in this frame. The Funny Face bends, stretches and curves, but if you just want to double your nose, you can easily do that with the five-position button. And when the machine is moved, Face Tracking preserves the modified image.
A special feature of the DV300F, WB3000F and ST200F is the Motion Photo feature, which, like the latest Hollywood audience successes, freezes the surroundings of a moving subject, such as filming someone jumping high in the park while the surrounding people are sculpturally stiff.

Video cameras

Samsung has introduced new members of its camcorder family. The capabilities of the high-end VF20 meet all needs: 1080 / 60i video recording, 42x optical zoom and 420x digital zoom, Wi-Fi connection. With Samsung Mobile Link and TV Link, Wi-Fi makes it much easier to view, share and store photos on any device on your home network, be it a smartphone or a 42-inch SMART TV. Images can be viewed on the 3,3-inch AMOLED touchscreen. The device also has creative features like Art Time-lapse recording and Frame Speed ​​Controller. In addition to all these features, the VF25 will come with 32GB of internal memory in stores.

The Q20 offers even more flexibility with the Vertical Recording function of Switch Grip 2 technology, as the built-in G-magnetic sensor always rotates the screen to the right angle. The QF20's Wi-Fi capability makes it easy to upload and share content, and the Auto-Backup feature allows you to quickly and securely save memories to a selected computer. In addition to its stylish design, the Q20 offers 1080i full HD recording, 20x optical zoom and a host of creative features. The new “Shake It” feature makes family videos even more enjoyable: you can create random artistic effects by moving the camera. 
The W300 is the latest addition to Samsung's rugged camcorder range. It is waterproof to dust depths of up to five meters, dustproof and can withstand falls from a height of up to two meters, and is capable of 1080 / 30p resolution in full HD quality. The W350's optional swimming pads allow you to float the camera on the water while shooting. Thanks to the 5MP BSI CMOS sensor and the F2.2 maximum aperture Bright Lens optics, it can be used to take high-quality images even in low light conditions.
 The F80 offers HD capability and excellent image quality with 52x optical zoom and 65 × intelli-zoom. The F80 captures 1280 × 720 30p videos using a 1 / 3,2 ”5MP CMOS sensor. The image resolution can be scaled to 1080i via HDMI

In Samsung’s new addition, each camcorder offers truly creative possibilities. The My Clip feature on all models makes it easy to mark the most important parts of events on the go. With enhanced Smart BGM II (Background Music), you can easily conjure up background music for your movie.
