Wi-Fi enabled phone from Sagem

We’ve been writing about the Sagem phone for a long time, which isn’t because of our bias or possible prejudice: it’s more about the French company not launching as many handsets as the two market leaders, Nokia and Motorola.

An updated version of the my400x is the my419x, which, with support for wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi and Unlicensed Mobile Access, allows subscribers to make and receive free phone calls using WLAN hotspots. Of course, this requires a proper set-up, as well as a mobile service provider that supports UMA, so this function will remain useless in Hungary for a long time to come.

Other than that, the Sagem old-new phone is a true low-end device with 128 × 128 pixels, a display of 65 colors, a VGA camera, 3,2 megabytes of memory and support for Bluetooth data transfer mode.
