Walkman competes with Samsung

Samsung has unveiled a music phone with a touch-sensitive display: the M7600 Beat DJ knows everything you would expect in its category.

The primary control of the quad-band network compatibility device is the 2,8-inch AMOLED display, which provides most functions with a single touch. A panel of this size can now be ideal for casual cinema, with all the additional conditions, as the M7600 is capable of playing DivX and Xvid files, and thanks to its microSDHC slot, it can't be a problem storing multimedia. We don't even have to worry about using our mobile phone to play our favorite music, as the tiny device - in addition to the 3,5 mm jack and the advanced player application - also includes the ICEpower technology named after Bang & Olufsen, which makes the sound quality certainly leaves nothing to be desired.

In addition to the above, the purchase price of a mobile phone equipped with a GPS receiver, FM radio, Bluetooth interface, 3 megapixel camera and HSDPA support is not yet known, nor is the date of the expected market entry announced by the manufacturer.
