PowerColor has expanded its range with hybrid tuner cards
ATI TV Wonder 600 and 650 based.
PowerColor tuners differ in two respects: the ATI TV Wonder 650 PCI and the ATI TV Wonder 600 have a PCI Express x1 interface, but more importantly, while the former relieves the CPU-2 hardware compression of the processor, the other software solve the fixation, thus posing a serious task to the central unit.
Except for the above differences, the two cards provide the same:
- reception of analogue (PAL / SECAM) and digital (DVB-T) television broadcasts
- receive FM radio broadcasts
- timed recording
- Teletext
- remote controller
- TV, S-Video, composite, audio and FM input
The recommended retail price for the PowerColor ATI TV Wonder 650 is $ 79 and for the ATI TV Wonder 600 is $ 54.
