Train Info 2.0 - Real time information about train traffic

Real-time timetable information of trains running in Hungary can be viewed, the IT background of the map is provided by the “UTAS” system of Google and MÁV Zrt.

Launch the map application a www.mav-start.hu It is possible after pressing the “Train info” button on the electronic track search interface on page XNUMX, the national map network is displayed on the page with icons indicating the trains currently running. On the right side of the screen you will see the control panel, which allows you to easily search for the train of your choice in the usual way for the ELVIRA system. The legend is displayed in the lower left corner of the screen. Both the control panel and the legend can be "turned off" from the screen to avoid obscuring useful information, and can be "turned on" again at any time later.

You can search the control panel by several parameters:  

• Route: Here you can start the search as usual after entering the route  
• Station: Here you can search for the name of a specific station by showing the train traffic affecting the station  
• Train: if we know the number of the train running, we can search exactly for the train. If the specified train is not running, a message will appear at the top of the screen.

By clicking on the information sign, you can find out information about the map application or set up the application individually. After searching from ELVIRÁ, the selected train can be accessed directly via a link under its number by clicking on “Show on map”: The legend is located in the lower left corner of the screen, which can be used to interpret the information displayed on the map. When selecting a route, the schedule for the given route is displayed in the usual way for the ELVIRA system. The route of the selected train is highlighted in red on the map. When you click on the selected train, the icon indicating the selected train is highlighted on the map. The direction of the train is indicated by a small black arrow, if the train is stationary, this signal is not visible.

Attention! There may be a 2-3 minute discrepancy between the map appearance and the ELVIRA online schedule, the data is for information purposes only and does not constitute an official schedule.
