The operating frequency of the Intel Core i7-3770K "Ivy Bridge" processor is 3,5 GHz, which, however, was doubled with a hussar cut.

The Ivy Bridge flashed

A rather succinct report from the German website ComputerBase found that the Intel Ivy Bridge, based on 22nm manufacturing technology, has crossed the 7 GHz dream limit. Unfortunately, due to the NDA (short circuit) affecting the processor, we did not receive detailed data, but the most important information was still revealed. The Intel Core i7-3770K overdrive used the highest multiplier available, in addition to the 112,11 MHz BCLK clock, which was 63. After a quick head count and / or looking at the image below, we can see that this means a clock signal of 7063 MHz. We weren’t surprised by the 1,9-volt operating voltage and liquid nitrogen, but interestingly, all four processor cores as well as Hyper-Threading technology were also activated.

CPU-Z certified result here would be viewable, the link is not public just because of the news short.
