Intel Core i7 compatible processor cooler, power supplies for multi-card systems and other goodies.
A CNPS9900 LED CPU cooler can be used for Socket 754, 939, 940 and AM2 (+) socket AMD processors and for Intel processors with LGA775 and LGA1366 enclosures. By implication, this means that it is suitable for cooling all CPUs in use today, including the Intel Core i17 family, which will launch on November 7th.
The density of the 0,2 mm copper slats is hidden by a 12-centimeter, blue-backlit, PWM-controlled fan that changes speed to suit the CPU temperature: a minimum of 1000 and a maximum of 2000 rpm - depending on the noise level of 18,5-39 dBA we can expect.
Zalman will begin selling the 782-gram processor cooler in mid-December, but the price of the product has not been disclosed so far.
It will be released at the end of this month ZM-CS4 named "footplate", which makes the CNPS9500 and CNPS9700 processor coolers Intel Core i7 compatible. The price of this product is also unknown.
A ZM-RHS50 / 70 is used to cool the FETs of ATI Radeon HD 4850 and HD 4870 video cards. The aluminum fins, available from November 10, are recommended by Zalman for all VGA-compatible coolers mentioned above - for example, the VF1000 shown in the image below.
Zalman has also announced high-performance power supplies, the ZM660-XT and the ZM770-XT can be purchased from the middle of December — the former has a maximum power of 660 W and the latter 770 W, by definition. The common feature of these modular PSUs is the 80 Plus Bronze certification, both are "NVIDIA SLI and ATI CrossFire ready", overheating is prevented by a 14 cm fan, the connectors of the power supplies are gold-plated, the +12 volt branches — of which there are 4 in total — each they withstand a maximum load of 20 amperes.
