Computex 2013: Get better cooling with the AMD Radeon HD 8000 Series

David Nekechuck, product manager for graphics cards at AMD, said next-generation solutions could get a much more efficient cooling system, the specialist said at the Computex event. Unfortunately, too many points have not been revealed, but the company is said to have mobilized significant resources to get the Radeon HD 8000 series better cooling than the current generation. That’s not to say a design will emerge that will embarrass the Greens ’GeForce GTX Titan reference solution, but fans can definitely get quieter cooling than they currently have.

The partners also expressed their views on the issue of the German ComputerBase portal. They said they were familiar with AMD’s plan, but don’t expect revolutionary solutions because the company uses dual communications. They were told that in order to cut costs, the reference chiller would not be born on an 'all-inclusive' basis, ie it would continue to have average indicators. So the partners will presumably still expect to be able to use their own solutions again with the Radeon HD 8000.
