Protection as early as day zero

Security Portal has launched its latest service, which helps you find out about vulnerabilities that pose the greatest threat much faster than ever before.

The Security Portal has already been constantly monitoring software vulnerabilities that threaten computers and IT systems. However, the IT Security News Portal now monitors vulnerabilities in the form of a unique service that has not yet been fixed, but the codes and other solutions needed to exploit them are now available. These vulnerabilities pose a serious threat to IT systems and require special attention to protect against them.

The Security Portal's 0.Nap service continuously monitors vulnerability reports from software developers and security companies and informs readers based on them. The news portal provides information on the so-called zero-day vulnerabilities in a unique form in Hungary in order to provide information and protection advice on the most dangerous vulnerabilities to everyone in the most transparent way possible. The service not only contains descriptions of security fixes that have not yet been fixed, but also information about vulnerabilities that have already been fixed by official updates.

Zero-day vulnerabilities pose an increasingly serious threat to IT systems, said Csaba Kristóf, editor-in-chief of the Security Portal. Nowadays, not only vulnerabilities in operating systems are exploited by attackers, but also vulnerabilities in various office and multimedia applications. According to the editor-in-chief, an additional problem is that once security vulnerabilities are discovered, codes and solutions that make it easy to exploit vulnerabilities become available more quickly. Therefore, faster protection measures are needed in order to prevent damage.

With the help of the free 0.Day service of the Security Portal, the protection against zero-day vulnerabilities can be made more efficient and faster, and the risks can be significantly reduced by the often simple protection solutions.
