Nickel-cadmium (NiCD) and nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) AA or AAA batteries can be charged using a lightweight (54 gram) USB 2.0 port plug-in called simply Freeloader Battery Charger, the entire process is about 3-4 takes hours. An LED informs the user about the charging status.

The purchase price of 12,95 pounds - about 4000 forints - also included two AA batteries.
