Firefox gets turbocharged
In fact, you already got it, since Firefox in the Nightly Channel already knows the OdinMonkey engine. OdinMonkey builds on a low-level, high-performance subset of JavaScript (asm.js) - allowing JavaScript code to run at extraordinary speeds. Mozilla says the process could give a new impetus to web applications, with execution speeds approaching the pace of native devices.
In Firefox 22, things can be tested, but by the time the stable release is done, more optimizations are expected.
