Tuning VGA from MSI

Last weekend, MSI introduced the latest member of the video card series, the MSI N275GTX Lightning.

For maximum cooling efficiency, the card is equipped with an MSI Twin Forzr II cooling system. In addition, the card is based solely on the highest quality components, and 10-phase PWM and APS technology stabilize the load on the GPU as well as the power supply. In addition, the card has new capabilities such as V-Check Points - to monitor GPU and memory voltage - and the Lightning Afterburner app - which allows voltage values and fan speed control in a Windows environment.

Twin Forzr II refrigeration system

The MSI N275 GTX Lightning features two 8-centimeter fans that vary in speed depending on GPU load and temperature. In contrast to conventional heat pipe systems, the MSI N275GTX Lightning Twin Frozr II cooling system contains a total of 5 SuperPipe 8 mm thick heat pipes, which the manufacturer claims result in a 90 percent increase in cooling efficiency compared to conventional heat pipe solutions.

V-Check Points

During the MSI Master Overclocking Arena, some tuners suggested developing a more convenient tool to monitor the voltage values of graphics cards. The two V-Check Point systems on the MSI Lightning series cards make it easy to monitor GPU and memory voltage.
