TripleHead2Go - three monitors for one output

Matrox cards, which have so far served many gamers and gamers and support three displays, are slowly becoming obsolete: the new device may be ideal for them.

The TripleHead2Go is an external box about the size of a CD case that can triple without a Matrox video card. The maximum resolution is 3840 × 1024, which means three 1280 × 1024 rectangles side by side. All you need to use it is an output signal that you distribute; for this, of course, it will be mandatory to install a special driver, which allows all this.

The manufacturer promises that TripleHead2Go will be able to work with both ATI and NVIDIA products. Its list of sponsorships already includes more than 150 games, including Age of Empires III, FEAR, Flight Simulator 2004, and Quake 4, just to name a few.

Dan Wood, head of Matrox’s tech-marketing group, sees a great future in multi-screen display. The steady decline in the price of monitors and the steady increase in the performance of VGAs are indeed giving more and more opportunities for widespread use, and it is also a fact that games are much more enjoyable and work is much easier in this way.

The release price of the device will be $ 300 in April.
