We’re still in debt this month for recommending more expensive appliances, so don’t wait any longer, let’s cut into it!

For top Chinese mobiles as well as reputable manufacturers, I really mean top quality. The more well-known brands are essentially built from the same components as their Chinese counterparts, but the latter are still cheaper, in many cases much cheaper. Yet the old big truth that the name has to be paid for is no longer valid, because Xiaomi or OnePlus will slowly become just as good-sounding names as Samsung, in fact, they may already sound better than those who know brands.

So let's see which phones we voted among the best this month!

Xiaomi Mi Note 3>

Xiaomi’s phone was unveiled to the general public last September. This phone can be considered, without exaggeration, a low-cost Mi 6, which is still the manufacturer’s flagship.

The central unit is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chip, which works with eight cores and a 2,2 GHz clock. In addition to the SoC, we find 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage, which is a pretty nice amount. The exterior clearly evokes the more expensive brother. Due to the 5,5-inch screen, it is slightly larger in size, but uses glass bent on four sides in the same way, but instead of the Mi 6 stainless steel frame, we find an aluminum body. Because of this, the Mi Note 3 is lighter but larger than the Mi 6.

Since the design is the same as the Mi 6, we are not surprised to find a dual camera in the back. in addition, the phone carries the same camera as what we can see on the most powerful We phones. the sensors used are Sony IMX 386 and Samsung s5k3m3, which support 4-axis optical image stabilization. But the Mi Note 3 comes with more advanced camera software that allows us to take better pictures due to the better camera algorithm. In addition, the Mi Note 3 is equipped with a 16 MP front camera.

OnePlus 5T >>

The OnePlus phone, as its name suggests, came as the successor to the hugely successful OnePlus 5. The two phones are essentially the same in terms of hardware. The central chip is last year’s ace, the Snapdragon 835, and the memory and storage are available in several versions. The current offer includes the version with 64 GB of storage, but the RAM is already 6 GB, so we think that will be enough for everything.

In the case of the OnePlus 5, most emphasize the quality of the camera, which is no wonder, as the back pair consists of a 20- and a 16-megapixel solution, but we also find a 16-megapixel self-contained camera on the front. As you may have read, the OnePlus 5 and 5T have the same hardware, but there is one big difference between them, and that is the display. While the old version followed the traditional 16: 9 aspect ratio, the new one already has an 18: 9 panel with a resolution of FHD +, i.e. 2160 x 1080 pixels.

Huawei Honor V10 >>>

Huawei's phone became an interesting mule based on its appearance. Thick bottom and top frame, the bottom has a traditional Home button fingerprint scanner. The display, on the other hand, is already a 18-inch piece with an 9: 5,99 aspect ratio and FHD + resolution in line with the new trends. Because of this, the phone looks more stretchy than usual.

We’ll obviously not have a problem with the design, as well as the hardware, because the eight-core Kirin 970 performs well in tests and in everyday life. The phone has 6 GB of memory and 64 GB of storage. The camera also meets the expectations of a device in this category. On the back is a pair of cameras, one member of which has 16 and the other member has a 20 megapixel sensor, while the front panel self-timer has 13 megapixels. With this hardware, we can now easily make up to 4K videos.

On the phone, of course, we have everything you would expect today, so WiFi and 802.11 Bluetooth supporting 4.2a / b / g / n / ac standards are waiting for us. There are also gyroscopes, gravity sensors and geomagnetic sensors, so we can use the V10 well in VR goggles. We haven’t talked about one thing yet, and that is the battery, which is perhaps a hair's breadth larger than its category, with a capacity of 3750 mAh.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 >>>>

Now the Mi MIX 2 is still in this selection, but hopefully its successor, the MIX 2S, will be here next month. It will be unveiled on March 27, but we don’t know when distribution will start.

In the meantime, here’s the current version, which was introduced to the audience at the same time as the first item on the list, Mi Note 3. It’s also last year’s phone, the successor to the hugely successful MIX, equipped with last year’s best central unit, the Snapdragon 835. The now recommended device comes with 6GB of memory and 64GB of storage, but if you go deeper into your pocket, you can even take a fully ceramic version with 8GB.

Luckily, we were able to write a test on this phone, and for me, this phone is the device I can use live. I guess you won’t be surprised to say I’ve been happy with it ever since. ZTE AXON 7 >>>>>

Last week, ZTE announced that the Axon 7 will be withdrawn from the market, or more precisely, it will no longer be manufactured. However, this should not deter anyone from buying, because the Axon 7 is a special device with special capabilities and a ridiculously cheap price compared to its knowledge.

The phone has a Snapdragon 820 proci running at 2,15 GHz, and comes with 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage. There isn't much interesting in this so far, the specialty of the phone starts at the display. One of the positive surprises is that the panel is not based on the usual IPS, but on AMOLED technology. If that weren’t enough, it’s worth mentioning that ZTE didn’t bother with Full HD resolution, they immediately packed a 2K, i.e. 2560 x 1400 pixel resolution display into their phone.

The line of extras is far from over. There are two cameras in the phone. You don't have to be ashamed of the 8 megapixels on the front, but the 20 megapixel structure on the back promises really outstanding quality, if only because, according to the factory data, the aperture value is also very good, f / 1.8! Good optics and a good sensor are not enough to take good pictures with a phone, but they also know this in the ZTE workshop. For this reason, an optical and an electronic image stabilizer have also been built into the mobile to keep our images sharp.

In addition to the super display and super camera, super sound has also been built into the phone. This has been achieved by working on an AK4961 and an AK4490 sound processor to get the sound from the built-in stereo speaker in the right quality, and to record all kinds of noise under our videos in crystal clear quality.

The ZTE Axon 7 is elegant on the outside and super on the inside. The strong and special iron is well worth the price, whoever buys it for many years will still enjoy your phone, in addition, since ZTE is also a well-known manufacturer in Hungary, the sale will not be difficult.
