The miracle CS-416X arrived yesterday and today it has been in service!

Introductory

I have to start with this article, to whom I have a sport steering gear like a helpless government, not only a frantic phone holder, but also a simple solution to easily and cheaply miss the job. It should be noted that it is not possible to use the usual U-clamp solution on the cushioned steering wheel, and the solution is not good when the mirror is screwing the holder. There are solutions that can be built into the steering column, but the goods are in the heavens. Of course I did not get rid of a little bit of cartoons, see what's become of it.

CS-416X - As it arrives

I selected the phone holder after a long scan. There had to be something I could transform as described above. The CS-416X seemed to be right according to the images.

When I arrived I quickly broke the contents of the brown carton and knew I had a good idea. Originally, the bracket can be mounted in the two usual ways. These motors (or bikes) are largely responsible for most of them. For the naked and hiking machines as well as the chopper, the steering tube is free, so using the U-clamp is perfect. Where not, there is a head attached to place a holder on the steering bolt.

For the above solutions, everything comes with screws and clamps, so the installation does not take too long. It took me a little more time, but before we do this, I'll tell you why I chose this holder.

CS-416X capabilities

Sometimes, 3 years ago, I first put my phone holder on my current engine. I had to groom it, and the strap was tighter than it was now. The solution was then an unused car holder. I tore the rubber band and the remaining stem was slightly pushed and pushed into the steering column. The holder was also ready. There was a major deficiency in charging.

I got a built-in, water-proof cigarette lighter socket. I dumped it into one of the plastic parts, it really did not go wrong, maybe it was just that I always had to carry a car charger with me, and then when I was not using it, I had to take it off the engine.

Then I had a minor accident, the plastic filling substrate broke, I had to buy a new one, and I did not have the heart to blush the beautiful scratch-resistant part again. Since then, I've been navigating until my phone is down.

This spring when I started to look at a stand, two main skills were important to me. One of the abovementioned redundancy and the other to have a USB socket for charging. Well, the CS-416X point is like this. In fact, there is not only a USB socket but a switch to disconnect the USB. True, there is a rubber stopper on the connector so it will not bake, but still, it's good to turn it off.

There is, of course, a third aspect to consider, which is safe use. I would not want to leave my phone while hiking. CS-416X has a strong, spring-loaded solution. I've watched many videos on the web and I decided on the basis of that. When it arrived, it turned out that a sprung rubber hanger was attached to the springs, which can be pulled to the corners of the phone, so we were twice protected against dropping the phone.

CS-416X conversion

As I wrote above, he had to have a little bit of nail art for the holder to be used. As a first step, I smacked the end of the clamping arm U, leaving a sphere with a short stem. This shaft was then drilled for six and six times.

In Praktiker, I bought a thread lock for pennies, which I then cut to size. I bought two pack of rubber gaskets in the water fitting department, came with me a packet washer and six nuts. The shopping list here ended.

In the cut, drilled, threaded hole I inserted the threaded stem cut into size. I put a nuts on the underside with a groin, can not be shaken. There was a washer there, then the seals, a new washer and two moms. I pulled the nuts until the rubber gaskets were so dense that they started to be in the steering column.

Then I made a similar rubber-sealing solution on the upper end of the thread-lock, but at the end of the stem the cut-off, transformed head came. Then I threaded the threaded lock together with the rubber, padded, screwed bolts into the tube and hippy-hopp, there was also a stable, shock-absorbing point on the engine.

Then I had nothing else to do with the rest of the factory hold, I hook up the cable, and I was ready with my bumper!

Conclusion

It has again proved to me that it is not worth the purchase of bulky motorcycle accessories when it comes from a fraction of the money from China if it is not better. True, I had to do a lot of work in my case, but most of the engines will not need it. But get ready if you have a roller-coated sporty engine, you're either jamming or not bobbing on the phone.

CS-416X works well for the time being. Charging goes on, the power switch is doing its job. The arms holding the phone are so strong that the extra hanging rubber really is not needed, the phone will not go out. If you do not trust this, you can tune it down, you'll have lifetime and one more day until you leave.

The holder is made of soothing materials and the quality is perfect. Currently available in three colors, in black, blue and gold. I still miss one thing, but it will not be too expensive to do it. We do not get a fuse for the cable, which is not very safe. If you listen to me, you will lose a fuse, cut off the cable, snatch two strings to the ends and solve the problem!

Overall, I'm so happy, not a bit, but very much. The subscription price is only $ 22, or $ 5000.
