It was the craziest thing ever to turn around with us!

Back in December last year, we noticed this good-natured tablet holder suitability, and then somehow we forgot about it in the year-end drive. Months passed, and finally it just occurred to us to order this madness.

It was the craziest thing ever to turn around with us!

Introductory

The spider-shaped phone holder came to us from Gearbest again, the stuff was not a sponsorship product, but at such a price, it doesn’t matter. We would have been seriously surprised if he also ran from two dollars for paper packaging, that’s not how it happened. I didn't really regret it, not least because during the unfolding I was already there in my imagination, what shapes I'm going to fold out of it.

Before we actually slam into the letcho, let’s take a look at this “spider” from a bit of a material perspective: a rubber-coated metal frame, a total of eight feet that can, of course, be bent and twisted multiple times. Not too unexpectedly, the stuff is pretty light.

Use

Taking the console in hand, the surprise came in a matter of moments because it proved to be pleasantly massive! I didn’t think such stability would be achieved with such pile-light materials: I think its load capacity could be somewhere around 1,0 kg, so it will presumably withstand what it was designed for. By the way; What was this for? Well, according to the official description, the following can be considered as a holder, including the following: telephone, tablet (up to 7 inches in diameter) and GPS.

If you asked me, I would say that this stuff doesn’t have the character of a duct tape in the slightest, meaning it’s good everywhere there’s a “problem” right now. The legs can be bent multiple times, and the rubber coating also provides some non-slip - I saw a brave candidate on the net using it as a bike phone holder. It’s all nice and good so far, but believe it or not, the thing isn’t at all as simple as it seems from the pictures; the shape invented in theory does not take shape at all in sharpness, at least certainly not in such clumsy hands as mine. So specifically, every foot was everywhere, just didn’t want to stand the way it should - in fact, in the first few minutes, the console seemed more of an unusual logic game, which I didn’t expect at all! In any case, I show the pictures so you can see how far my creativity has spread.

In addition to the above, I had 1-2 ideas for utilizing the spider, such as the following: who likes to read in bed and maybe has a device that is prone to warming up, well, it is possible that the stuff will be practical there, as we do not spoil the device. cooling - on the other hand, a pillow will definitely heat up the back cover better.

The only question left open about the holder is that it is nothing more than break safety. Based on my experience so far, the frame can withstand bends quite well, however, it is not excluded that the material will sooner or later surrender at densely moved points - let’s say no one at Gearbest has complained about this yet. Overall, there is a perspective in the holder - e.g. it can also be good for a funny souvenir - but it’s a bit of a pity that it doesn’t have more legs and isn’t bigger, because then it could be used for even more tablets.

Unusually, the summary should end with a question: What role could you apply this spider to? If you have any healthy ideas, don't keep them to yourself!
