Over 10 billion Android Market downloads

The Google Mobile Blog reported another Android milestone the other day.

So far, Android marketers have downloaded apps from Android Market’s online marketplace, Android Market, 10 billion times. Nice number, but if we look at the rate at which it grows, it’s even prettier. Google says the current growth rate of 1 billion app downloads / month.

To celebrate the track, the company has partnered with a few developers, resulting in 10 cents ($ 10) for 22 days for some popular apps - such as Minecraft, Asphalt 6 HD, Swiftkey X, Paper Camera, Sketchbook Mobile - Android Market-from.
