Will it be a Microsoft Surface phone?

It’s not the first time there have been rumors that Microsoft is starting to make its own smartphone, but now that the Surface tablet is a reality, it’s much easier to believe this news.

The basis of the current rumors is the man of a Taiwanese parts supplier requesting anonymity, who says there is a movement on the part of Microsoft. However, it is not possible to know whether this is only due to an attempt to produce a prototype or a real device to be mass-produced. Nothing is known about the exact structure, only the 4- or 5-inch display can provide a clue to the look of the new Surface device.

Staff at The Wall Street Journal asked Steve Ballmer, but he didn’t give a specific answer, preferring to mention Nokia, Samsung and HTC devices with new mobile Windows going into stores during the festive season.

Many people believe that Microsoft wants to follow Apple's business model, so it would not be surprising to announce a Surface phone after the Surface tablet. However, the business model should not only be reflected in sales.
