Test recommendation: in the clamp are AMD Athlon II X4 641 and 651K
In terms of performance, we are not dealing with weak solutions - this is clear from the results - yet it is not easy to find a test for Liano processors without IGP.
AMD wants to compensate for the short life cycle of the FM1 socket with overwhelming pricing. The best example of this is the Athlon II X4 600 series, the smallest member of which looked under 17 forints. Unfortunately, it is not this model that is on the iXBT Labs test bench, but the Athlon II X4 641 and 651K, but from their performance we can deduce the speed of the small salt. On the Intel side, the choice fell on the Pentium G850 and Core i3-2120, respectively, although the latter is already in a different price range.
The detailed results are on the iXBT Labs site they are readable, but a huge surprise is not to be expected. As expected, AMD's solution is stored in a well-parallel environment, so practically the Athlon II X20 4, hiding under 641 forints, can reach the Core i30-3 processor, which can be seen at a height of 2120, which is not a small performance. Of course, after the overdrive, the difference can continue to grow - this will be presented by the larger Athlon. The picture is changing in games, here the Pentium G850 is more in sight, but during office applications it is proving to be too big a bite for AMD's solutions.
Where good…
… And where no longer.
The editors focused only on performance, so CPU consumption, for example, was not revealed in the test. On the other hand, for sure from this a more detailed series of measurements cannot be desired.
