Full LG CINEMA 3D picture and sound experience at CES

LG Electronics will unveil four home theater systems equipped with the latest 3D sound technology at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES). 

The synergistic relationship between LG CINEMA 3D Smart TVs and CINEMA 3D SOUND home theater systems will also become clear on store shelves as the two products will be offered in pairs by all stores in the United States. The four CINEMA 3D SOUND home theaters will be unveiled by the manufacturer in the first half of the year, with the BH9420PW being the first to be seen by the general public at this year’s CES. This model already features the patented LG 3D Sound Zooming technology, which continuously synchronizes the sound with the position and movement of the 3D images currently displayed on the 3D Smart TV screen. The 3D Sound Zomming function can produce sounds of different depths using a complex algorithm based on the analysis of the varying depth of objects displayed on a 3D TV screen.

Captivating 3D sound quality is further enhanced by the BH9420PW's 9.1 speaker system, which features an additional 5.1 stationary 4D speakers compared to the traditional 3 home theater system for a full-bodied sound experience. The four stationary 3D speakers push the sound upwards, ensuring that the vertical space is also filled with sound. The 3-degree prisms in each of the stationary 360D speakers reflect the sound in all directions, turning our living room into a real concert hall.

The LG BH9420PW also has Smart TV features so that customers can enjoy the benefits of a wide range of content in addition to the perfect audio and video experience. This gives any traditional 3D TV access to the content offered by LG Smart TV, which is evolving in both quantity and diversity, and is complemented by premium content such as the LG 3D Zone. 

LG will provide information on the introduction of the BH9420PW in Hungary at a later date.
