Samsung Mondi can arrive in stores with a full keyboard

The novelty can start a battle in the field of MIDs.

There is little talk of the MID segment in the overall fire of netbooks and smartphones, yet some manufacturers still see fantasy in devices developed for mobile internet. Undoubtedly, Samsung Mondi's greatest virtue lies in its huge display and full-featured keyboard: the 4,3-inch display is touch-sensitive, so you can effectively complement the physical QWERTY keypad that slides out from the bottom of the case. The advantages and disadvantages of solutions that have so far mostly emerged as competing with each other could be debated for hours, so it seems a logical move from Samsung to combine both technologies in a single device. We have no reason to complain about Mondi's additional capabilities either, as the novelty running Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system was equipped with 4 GB of internal memory, GPS receiver, Bluetooth 2.1 radio, HDMI output and a 3-megapixel camera. Of course, the repository does not lack a WLAN antenna for wireless data transmission, just as support for WiMAX networks is not left out of the device. The only painful negative is that despite the built-in microphone, Mondi is not suitable for voice transmission, so unfortunately it is not possible to make phone calls with the device.
