I think there may be few who haven’t heard of Tamagochi yet. Anno, it was a real folk disease to raise a virtual pet locked in a mini structure, happy unhappy excited that the little pet would starve or thirst.

They now seem to be dusting off their old pet and hiding in new clothes to try to drive the world crazy again. The new Tamagochi knows a little more than its predecessor. You can download various accessories for it, connect it to your mobile phone via infrared, and you can access many mini games with your phone. The new toy, now with a color display, is available in six colors in the land of the rising sun, priced at 5040 yen.
