Nokia is replacing chargers

Nearly 14 million products of the Finnish manufacturer are affected by the call.

Nokia claims that the problem is caused by the possibly detached outer casing of the chargers, which poses serious contact protection hazards. There is a relatively small chance that someone in Hungary would have a mobile phone with a faulty charger, as Nokia says that the problematic series was originally marketed in Asia and some Latin American regions.

The series concerned are:

AC 3U (2009 June 15 - 2009 August 9)
AC-3 (2009 June 15 - 2009 August 9)
AC 4U (April 2009, 13 - October 2009, 25)

For more information on free replacement of defective chargers, see Nokia can be found on its website.
