Folding mobiles are really coming in September

Samsung has once again collected a big black dot for the Galaxy Fold this year, plus it may be overtaken by Huawei.

Folding mobiles are really coming in September

One of the biggest stories of the summer was that Samsung was ahead of everyone else in launching its Fold, a foldable phone with a flexible display. Then we all know what happened, the testers removed the protective film from the display, which turned out not to be a protective film, but an integral part of the display. And that wasn't the only mistake. The gap at the hinges was too large, so all kinds of dirt got in there, obstructing the opening. A post today on Samsung's website testifies that the errors have been fixed, so in theory nothing stands in the way of distribution. The edge of the "protective film" was folded behind the frame, so it cannot be pulled off, dust caps were placed on the lower and upper ends of the hinges, and the distance between the parts was reduced during the joints, so in theory dirt cannot get in there either.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold will be released in September, and there’s only one problem with that, it could easily be overtaken by Huawei with the Mate X!

As early as June, we heard promises from Huawei that the phone would hit store shelves in September at the latest, but the latest information is that the September date is the latest date, and it could easily be that the mobile will be available in August. The device is already in the process of being licensed in China, so it may even be in the hands of Chinese buyers in late July or early August, while the September date marks a global appearance. So it seems that Huawei has come to wait because, on the one hand, they didn’t have to get into a huge blama again, and on the other hand, because of the time they gained, they can overtake Samsung despite thorough testing.
