The i-mate has introduced a rugged smartphone: the 810-F can withstand increased physical strain.

The biggest virtue of the novelty, which is expected to be introduced within the framework of this year's Mobile World Congress, is that thanks to its durable construction, there are not many competitors in its category. The rubberized outer shell and screw-reinforced construction are indeed a rare combination in the smartphone field, yet (or because of that) the 810-F can look forward to a significant career in the industrial sector. Fortunately, all the components are there to make it happen, as the device brings the expected level in most respects: in addition to the 624 MHz central unit, there is an HSDPA module, WLAN antenna, GPS receiver, QVGA display and QWERTY keyboard in the i-mate salute.

The purchase price of the new version with Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard is still a secret, but it is certain that the amount will include a lifetime warranty for the device.
