Sony will be Sony Ericsson?

Sony is starting to be satisfied that their share of the mobile market is getting smaller and they don’t even see a way out.

The Japanese manufacturer is likely to become self-sufficient. This has hurt the brand’s industry development a lot in recent years and they couldn’t pick up the pace with the other manufacturers, though unbelievable at the time, but the company had high hopes for the market, sharing a large share of the market with Samsung it was mentioned within the ranks.

These times are certainly over, and the company has been producing a series of setbacks since the smartphone market took on its current form, i.e. the Android, iOS, WP7 trio. Although the latter is young and not really serious yet, Ericsson has not yet released a phone with such a system, but it has not made much lasting on Android, sales are not real, the Mini series alone is a great success, but it is not enough to offset the balance.

Now Sony is buying out Ericsson from the brand, so it will practically be Sony from Sony Ericsson, no other change will happen in the short term. Then, as planned, Sony will be able to pay more attention to the smartphone market, giving them more room for improvement, so they can have more chances in the market, which would already go beyond smartphones to other portable devices. How this will affect brand loyal customers is not known.

According to the Wall Street Journal, they are almost closed, but there is no official information about it yet. Furthermore, it is not known at what price the Japanese can obtain the company’s approximately $ 1,5 billion patent package.
