Sony introduces its new 3D All-in-One
Sony unveiled its new all-in-one computer at the IFA event in Berlin. Called the VAIO L, the desktop is integrated with a 24-inch multitouch display that is also 3D-capable.
The display has a full HD resolution, the background lighting was solved with LED light. You can switch between 2D-3D modes with the press of a button. If it's Sony, then the Playstation "ability" couldn't be left out either. The display can also be used for the console, taking advantage of all the beauty of 3D games.
The VAIO L comes with Intel Sandy Bridge-based Core processors, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 1TB hard drive, Blu-ray burner, Nvidia Geforce GT540M graphics, integrated HD webcam and Sony's own applications. Capabilities included the HDMI port, S-Force Front Surround (virtual 5.1 channel surround effect), Firewire, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 3.0, wireless keyboard and mouse. The 3D glasses are included with the machine. Sony will launch the new machine in Europe in October.
