Introducing Silicon Power flash-based storage

We’re in a bit of an interesting situation with Silicon Power, since even though that name doesn’t sound familiar to most of us, maybe we use their product unknowingly. Silicon Power Computer & Communications Inc. is a leading manufacturer of electronic storage devices, selling millions of products worldwide through various channels and brands. Now is the time to distribute their products in Hungary under their own name. The product range covers almost everything we can somehow add to the term electronic storage: a wide range of RAMs, flash drives, memory cards and card readers serve the grace of customers.

Introducing Silicon Power Flash Storage 1

We have received three memory cards, let's start our presentation with them!

Silicon Power MicroSD 1GB (SP001GBSDT000V10-SP)

Our first subject is placed by the manufacturer in the "Mobile Card" group, which, given its first interpretation - for mobile phones - is absolutely understandable, since most mobile phones are familiar with this standard. Its secondary interpretation — mobile, portable — also seems logical, since it can also be of good service in our video camera, for example.

Introducing Silicon Power Flash Storage 2

A special feature of the SP microSD cards is that they come with two adapters (miniSD / SD), which is definitely a welcome fact. The offer ranges from the smallest (128 MB) to the medium to large (2 GB), so there is something to choose from. For those who would not have enough, look around the microSDHC housing, here the maximum size is 8 GB.

Silicon Power Memory Stick Pro Duo 2GB (SP002GBPMD000V10)

Flash-based memory, designed primarily for portable players and gaming machines, is a product of Sony and can be used almost exclusively for this company's products. The Duo Pro is an upgrade to the base version, which guarantees higher storage capacity and speed. Of course, the package includes the 2GB card itself in the Memory Stick Duo Adapter.

Silicon Power Memory Stick Micro (SP008GBM2C000V10)

Together with SanDisk, Sony released a new format for Memory Stick, Micro, three years ago. The cards, which now offer up to 32GB of storage capacity, have collapsed in the wash, meaning the novelty boasts a quarter of the size of its predecessor. The little one came to us in a size of 8 GB - of course spiced up with an adapter.
