Shuttle X50V3: Fanless All-in-One Barebone

The buzz will certainly not bother us if we choose Shuttle’s latest product, but at the same time we will have to buy some components as it is still a Barebone.

The X50V3 measures 39,13 × 32,7 × 4,2 centimeters and weighs around 3 kilograms. From this you can guess, we are not getting a huge cinema monster, but a touch screen with a 15,6-inch screen with a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels, which is common in laptops. Available in black and white, the not-so-beautiful device features an Intel Atom 2700 dual-core 2,13 GHz processor and an integrated graphics chip, the Intel GMA3650, but we can already install memory in the two DDR3 SOIMM slots, 2 × 2 GB DDR3 -1066 MHz version, as well as the purchase of a 2,5 ″ SATA SSD / HDD. However, current plans include the X50V3 with available memory and storage, supplemented by Windows or the OpenSuSE Linux operating system, but with this, Barebone as a concept will be less true of Shuttle’s fresh machine.

If the display size is not enough later, you can connect one using D-Sub and HDMI. The newcomer also has a 2-megapixel camera, four USB 2.0 ports, a card reader, Gigabit Ethernet and a b / g / n WiFi module. So far, no release date or price has been mentioned, but we hope Shuttle will offer the X50V3 cheaply, because we haven't fallen back from the launch, in any case we can be sure it will at least be quiet.
