RD790 boards are already on Computex

Several manufacturers are preparing to introduce motherboards based on AMD's new chipset.

One of the biggest IT trade fairs of the year is around our necks, the preliminary information from the manufacturers participating in the exhibition is in a nice line.

AMD's long-awaited RD790 chipset will be finalized on Computex with major motherboard manufacturers. Also known as the Hammerhead codename, the RD790 could give a new boost to AMD’s AM2 processors, coming in handy with the Core 2 Duo. Although detailed product information is not yet available, we can be sure that a ferocious RD790 tuning sheet is already being made in DFI’s witch kitchen.
